Environments
“Environments” a multi media installation using film, field recordings and live performance. On the 3rd and 4th of March 2010 it was performed at The Space, Dundee College. I see my work as documentation to the landscape and our human engagement with it, I’m fascinated by the relationship between audience and performer and the audiences role in engagement within a confined space. During this project I collaborated visual artist Louise Kerr, who edited the films, as well as working with dance Dagmara Jerkzak. The installation contains, 1 Dancer, 8 films and 1 soundscape, in relation to the explorations of 2 sites, one being Seaton Cliffs Arbroath, and the other being the basement of The Space, Dundee College. The Dance installation was performed at the Space Dundee, and the multiple films were shot on Seaton Cliffs, as were all field recordings
